“One!” “But the light bulb has to want to change”
… Cheesy, I know, but I love that joke!
Every day I see clients who have looked around at their lives and said, “I don’t want this anymore, I want something more, better, different, more satisfying.” But many of those same clients aren’t at the place yet where they are actually able to make the change.
But why not? Several reasons but mostly…
–Not realizing their own power: Many people still think they are victims of situations and circumstances when that’s only a tiny part. The greater share is firmly in their own hands.
-Not knowing what to do: The mindset that got them into this mess is not the one that will get them out of it. It often takes the help of an outsider’s perspective to give a clearer view and point the way to that better place.
Change is hard: Changing the way you do things is hard, especially if you aren’t even sure what the problem really is. 98% of what we do is habit based, and changing your habits, even things like the habit of not asking for what you need, takes some real work.
And Frankly: Not everyone is up for such a challenge.
Why?
Unhealed childhood wounding manifesting as …
–The “havingness” comfort zone with money is too low. People with this issue are not comfortable having and keeping money. When they get it, something happens, and they lose it right away.
–Low self-esteem: This manifests as an inability to ask for and expect good things.
–Low confidence: This makes it hard for someone to put themselves out there so they can get what they want.
–Crippled by fear, worry, or doubt: There are a lot of reasons why people sit in fear but at the end of the day, to move forward in life you must overcome those reasons. You can do it; I know you can.
-Limiting unconscious beliefs: These can secretly run the show and keep you from what you want.
Got it, so how do I fix it … or rather, ME?
Like everything it starts with identifying the problems, looking for the patterns in your behaviors.
Are you dating the same not-nice person repeatedly?
Do you get money only to lose it quickly with some “problem” like a car repair?
Do you consistently accept less from life than you want or deserve?
Then …
Seek help—hypnotherapy, counseling, spiritual support, dietary help if your issues are physical. Once you accept that you are the beginning, middle, and END of all your problems you suddenly take back your power from the situation and a world of possibilities open for change.
Love yourself enough to do the hard, at times very hard work of change so you can have the life you really want … the one that makes you happy.
And, yes, you deserve all good things.
Much love.
